You stand in the Inner Ward of Anvard. The ground is hard-packed earth, and it is open to the sky above. Wonderful aromas come wafting out from the Kitchen to the south, near the well. Huge, impressive, intricately carved doors lead to the Great Hall. Staff hurry about, in and out of their quarters, serving the Great Hall and the Council Chamber. A quieter corridor to the northeast leads walking towards their quarters seeing to other business. A guarded gatehouse curtain wall, climbing to the upper reaches of the castle.

Dalia exits the staff quarters, basket in hand. A book just barely peeking out from underneath it

Haft sees Dalia as he heads toward the staff quarters. “Ah, more suspicious baking?”

Dalia shakes her head, “I’m afraid not. I’ve got to return this tome on music to the library. I’ve been meaning to… just.”

Haft says, “Let me guess. You put it in the oven, but you forgot to add yeast and it didn’t rise.”

Dalia smiles, “What should our estimable Librarian say to that?”

Haft mutters something under his breath.

Haft mumbles “I don’t much care what our estimable librarian says, to be honest.”, to Haft.

Haft mumbles “I … much care … … estimable librarian … … … honest.”, to Haft.

Dalia nods, “He is a bit trying isn’t he? But King Lune must have good faith in him to have given him the position.”

Haft says, “I should keep my opinions to myself. He’s good with organizing books anyway.”

Dalia says, “Oh no.. I didn’t mean to imply that… only… I don’t know.”

Haft says, “Not your fault. I think too loud.”
